Status: Casual, zero hours agreement with holiday pay accrued. Shifts offered as needed across markets and prep days.
Typical locations: South London markets including Croydon and Waterloo, occasional event sites. Bakery kitchen based in New Covent Garden Market, Vauxhall.
Pay: from £13.85 per hour, plus holiday pay, paid breaks where applicable.

Casual means no guaranteed hours. We offer shifts when available, you can accept or decline. You accrue holiday pay on hours worked. You are paid for every hour you work.
Yes. You will shadow first, then complete simple tasks with guidance, then progress to full responsibilities.
Kitchen: we provide chef whites and aprons. You will need closed toe shoes, hair tied back, no jewellery apart from a plain band.
Market: we provide uniform for the upper half, you will need clean trainers, and jeans or similar. We suggest warm layers.
Shift times vary depending on the role, and location. Generally, market call times can be between 8am and 10am, kitchen call times can be between 6am and 9am.
We always confirm call times in advance.
Not essential for Market Team Member. Being able to meet at the pickup point or at the market on time is essential.
Absolutely! If you like the sound of both roles and think you have the skills, we will consider you for both.
As a casual team member, the amount of shifts or hours you work is up to you. It can be more one week than another. All we ask is for reliability… If you accept a shift, it is then your responsibility to fulfil it.
